Special Events

We had visit to Kentish Town City Farm on the 22nd April. Twenty Five Children and their parents came. Chris from the farm looked after us really well, showing us around the farm to to see ducks, turkeys, cows, pigs, goats, horses and all the wonderful things they have. A great, local, free and fun day out.

Garden Project
Myself and a group of our parents and children are in the process of rejuvenating our little walled garden that has 2 slides and 2 playhouses,. We are planting strawberries, tomatoes and a selection of sensory plants, creating a larger grassed area and seating, providing a great outside space for  everyone at  our  drop in. In the course of this year we also hope to create a work station and table. The children will be able to explore objects and create things on this as everything will be at an ideal height for them. Over the course of the summer the children will be getting involved, helping to plant bulbs, grow sunflowers and pick the crops for our snack time.

Activities for you and your children in NW London.

St Marys Drop-ins offer a wide range of activities for your little ones to enjoy. It provides a fun, friendly and safe environment for you and your children to socialise, and you can have a cup of tea and meet other local parents/carers.

Each week we focus on a different art activity from sponge painting to play dough. Check the timetable page to see what's happening. We also have a baby area, a home corner area and normally two other play mats with other activities set up on them.

During the summer months, the Drop-in tends to be set up in our outdoor space. We also have a lovely garden which the children love to play in.

What happens?
The first hour and fifteen minutes is free play. The children can choose to play with whatever they wish. Then we have Snack time, which normally consists of toast or crumpets with fruit and a beaker of water to wash it all down.

Then the real fun begins!!!
It's time for Stories and Singing!!!!!

See our photo gallery to get a flavour of what we get up to.
